Worship

Worship is meant to change us.

It is meant to be a deeply felt, transformational experience,

held together by the Spirit of God.

This is our hope every Sunday.

SUNDAY SCHOOL & NURSERY

What to expect...

On Sundays, children begin in the Sanctuary and transition to Sunday School following our Time for Young at Heart moment in the service.

An activity station is located near the entrance of the sanctuary, where the children can sit and color, or you can grab a coloring book and bag to be used in your pew.

Worried about your kids being noisy? That's okay! Children's movement (and noise!) is a welcome part of our worship life together. WHOEVER you are: however young or old, however wiggly or still, however quiet or noisy, YOU are welcome!

On Sundays, the nursery is open and available to parents, and our nursery volunteers are happy to watch your little ones for you!

HOLDEN EVENING PRAYER

Third Tuesdays monthly

(September - May)

7:15 P.M.

The tradition of prayer.

Holden Evening Prayer is a traditional setting of evening prayer set to music. It was written in 1985-86 by Marty Haugen, the musician-in-residence at Holden Village, a Lutheran retreat center in Washington state. This evening prayer setting follows the traditional form while using contemporary, inclusive language. Even if you do not read music, Holden Evening Prayer is easy to learn.
